ServiceMaster by Park-Ellis will be hosting Continuing Education courses for local agents and adjusters in 2013. All classes are at the intermediate level.

 

All Classes Are Free!

When attending classes refreshments and lunch are provided at all presentations. Space is limited; please fill out this registration form to guarantee your seat. Attendance for the entire course presentation is a state requirement in order to receive full CE credit. With advanced notice, we can submit CE credits in Ohio & Michigan. Each state requires a minimum of 30 days notice. All courses are approved in Ohio and Michigan. Please contact ServiceMaster by Park-Ellis with any questions.

Ethics Course "If You Don't Live It, You Don't Believe It!"

This insurance company training program is designed to provide a practical look at ethical decision-making. Instead of relying on "gut feel," the process contained in this program takes the decision-maker through several filters, which ensure that all parties affected by the decision will be considered. Water Damage Mitigation

This course will demonstrate how water can damage carpet, wood floors and other building materials, how long until damage occurs and what steps can be taken to reduce or minimize the damage. The course will also illustrate water removal and explain the principles of drying and dehumidification. Mold growth use of antimicrobials, and odor control will also be covered. Smoke and Odor Mitigation

The course will show how acid gases flow throughout a home, the damage it causes and what should be done about it. Reduce damages by knowing how smoke “burns” what fire doesn't. Learn what can be done to assist those who have a fire or smoke loss. This course will review the proper smoke mitigation steps which can reduce the loss. Mold Remediation *NEW CLASS*

Understanding what mold is and what it does assists us in knowing what steps to take to prevent and/or re-mediate a loss. Ohio Course #30342, Michigan Course #59962 (3 credit hours)

Subrogation Reporting on Mitigation Claims *NEW CLASS*

A comprehensive training program that focuses on equipping agents & adjusters to control claims costs through subrogation investigation and reporting. It also teaches the role and value of mitigation by first responders. Ohio Course #50791, Michigan Course #59964 (3 credit hours)

Mitigating Personal Property (Packout Claims) *NEW CLASS*

Water Damage for Manufactured Homes *NEW CLASS*

This course will cover the differences between the two types of manufactured homes: mobile and modular; including the unique construction features that may impact decisions made during water mitigation. Ohio Course #49417, Michigan Course #57599 (3 credit hours)

We need at least 30 days notice ahead of your desired date and a minimum of 10 attendees.
